he works alone in a small shop in northern WI.
Making one saddle at a time.
Born in Wi. and raised in Montana.
He made his first saddles, small ones as a boy only 10 years old,
He has made full size custom saddles scene he was 14 years old.
Learned the trade working with a saddle maker in Wa. State.
John will help you pick the right size,
you pick the kind of tree, defining the type of saddle,
you pick the kind of skirt,
you pick the type of fenders,
pick your own stirrups, tapadaros or breast strap and stile,
how much and what kind of tooling you want .
